I was on vacation last week. Exceptions H3, H6, H7 were thrown because the server did not respond. I think this is because the server is overloaded.
The approach with modesfiltered is to reduce the data already on the client by filtering out civil traffic. The program requeues the report so you can easily ignore the error message. Format errors are also not rare.
