If modesfiltered did not receive messages from dump1090-fa (log entry "0 MSGs sorted ...") then it often did not recover and stopped sending reports to our server. It seems that dump1090-fa closes the socket sometimes (maybe if very few data is transfered). Which I have never seen with the older dump1090.
So I made a new version of modesfiltered that adds a function to close and reopen the sockets to dump1090-fa if there have been no messages received. If you notice this misbehavior in your log files, I advise updating the software. The new version 26 can be downloaded here: https://www.live-military-mode-s.eu/Rpi/.
