There is no problem. You just mixed up the directories. The script is executed under /etc/init.d. You already checked the file rights. The rights under /home/modesfiltered don't matter. You could delete this copy.

I still have not seen the reported problems. But for all of you who wish to revert to V4 the modesfilteredV4.zip is online.
As a precaution I have reverted standard download to V12 which was the last version before a major change (3 ports).
