Re: AE0575 87-0033

Hi Guys I've been keeping an eye on AE0575 and it is apparent (at least to me) that this has for quite some time been used by C-5s on respective sides of the Continental USA. It certainly can be (as Larry has said) associated with 87-0033 (which ought to be using AE057E) and was noted on the 10th No...

Re: AE4BDC

Hi Jason and Albert I'm not sure that this is correct. The C-130J in question is using an Omani hex code, namely 70C07D. By way of confirmation the hex has previously been reported with flight ID "LAC5698" which equates to the msn of 525; and I see that hex 70C07D was reported in an Atlant...

Hi Steve The second serial in brackets (86-0017) means that this code is also being used (erroneously) by a second machine. I agree that hex code AE051A is assigned to 68-0213 but on the 17th August this hex code was reported in the USA using Mode S flight ID "RCH6017" which is the callsig...

Re: AEFAF3 08-3178 C-130J

Hi Jason If the transponder was emitting AEFAF3 it would be a miscode given that (as I mentioned in my previous posting) that similar hex code AE4AF3 was also reported in the Atlanta area on Thursday, using Mode S Flight ID (or callsign if you prefer) of "LAC5673" and this indicates that i...

Re: AEFAF3 08-3178 C-130J

Hi Albert/Jason

I presume this is a miscode (or a typo) given that AE4AF3 was reported in the Atlanta area yesterday with Mode S flight ID "LAC5673" which is the construction number/msn of 08-3178.

Best wishes
