Re: altitude and squawk never change
My Rpi shows local time in console. PC+Windows+Planeplotter is too much power consuming for 24/7. Piaware also gives me MLAT but only locally. With default settings MLAT data is not relayed to modesfiltered. My setup: Rpi + RTL-SDR Dongle + GPS receiver for time sync Raspbian Jessy running dump1090 ...

Re: altitude and squawk never change
I never used planeplotter together with the livemodeslogger. But I can imagine that it works the way you described. If your station reports flights that it did not see, then maybe one can interpret this also as a kind of gift. As long as it is true data, live-mil-mode-s benefits from it. I am not su...

Re: altitude and squawk never change
@bosgnoom: Thanks for testing. Please report any problems with the version. @skaw: Yes you can use modesfiltered on any platform that has a Java RTE installed. The version is just a modification of the modeslogger. I did the coding on a Windows Vista machine. I had no serious problems with the "...

Re: altitude and squawk never change
I have verified the link just now. It works as follows: first click regular download below right clock, than close the pop-up window with the cross in top right corner, wait for 5 seconds, than click 'i am not a robot', click the images that solve the question, click continue, click download file. Y...

Re: altitude and squawk never change
Rongor, maybe you could help testing. Just download this version http://dfiles.eu/files/yi3uimnvx, install and try.

Re: altitude and squawk never change
Hi Rongor, it is not the listing or database it is the java program running on the RPi. I have observed this behaviour on my station too and analyzed the code. The fields altitude and squawk are not deleted after sending a MSG of type 6/7 or initialized to zero before decoding a new MSG from Dump109...

@ owner of EDDM-2, DE please check your time
Hello EDDM-2,
Could it be, that your station is not in the correct timezone?
Check: http://www.live-military-mode-s.eu/whic ... nline5.php
Your station shows GMT +0:00 which is not Germany!

Re: submitted data not showing on website
Hi, maybe I do understand now what you mean. The tables show that your station (running on a RPi) has sent some data but you cannot see a corresponding plane marker on the map. Is this what you have observed? The same thing I have seen today. There are two tables. The first table view (zoekLOC=stati...

Re: submitted data not showing on website
Do I understand it right that you did not log the data sent by modes.class but the data coming out of dump1090? In that case one cannot say whether the server was not reachable or there went something wrong with the database. My station often throws SQL exceptions of the kind: "Table 'modes.LAT...

Re: submitted data not showing on website
Hello Rongor, what do you mean with dump (output of dump1090 or output of modes.class) and what exactly is in your dump (for example MSG3 LatLonPi)? I also would find it helpful to have a description of how the database works. Maybe the flight was first seen by the station "Lej, Lej" and s...
