Re: altitude and squawk never change

Thx for the info with your timestamp in the console. It was indeed the --localtime argument from modesmixer2. From earlier setups with the windows client in conjunction with planeplotter i was used to be mostly synchron to Hannover. Its working as intended now, although i switched from modesmixer2 t...

Re: altitude and squawk never change

Yes, you are right! I confused that with this thread: http://www.live-military-mode-s.eu/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2116 I didn't know about any alternatives at that time. My first setup was a netbook with planeplotter and the windows client. Then i switched to an RPi with modesmixer, ppup and a...

Re: altitude and squawk never change

Ah great, i'll give it a try for the next few days. Another thing...The windwos client, which needs planeplotter (well..works with modesmixer2 too), gets the decoded data from planeplotter, right? I have a significant decreased amount of reports being shown on the live-military-mode-s site since i u...

Re: altitude and squawk never change

So on a windows system i could easily use this java version instead of alberts modeslogger? Kommst du aus Deutschland? Hatte mit der normalen RPi Version immer Probleme, weil er nach einiger Zeit aufhörte, zu funktionieren und Fehlermeldungen rausgab, die nur durch einen RPi Neustart behoben werden...

Re: Join Live Military mode-s with a Raspberry PI:

Okay, think i got a step further. i set modesmixer2 up to provide data on port 30003, which the modes.jar seems to require. This way i don't get the errors from above. Unfortunatly i get some other errors: http://fs5.directupload.net/images/151005/svk3kmaf.jpg This causes the modes.jar to restart ov...

Re: Join Live Military mode-s with a Raspberry PI:

Hi, recently i switched from a windows based PC to a raspberry pi to run planeplotter and of course i want to use the pi to feed the data to live-military-mode-s too. Unfortunatly it does not work for me. I have a Raspberry Pi 2 Version B, set up to run planeplotter which works smoothly. I followed ...
