Re: C-130J-30 Update

Hi Snoop/Larry I recall from a few years ago it was thought that the 07-463** C-130Js had been re-serialled, and that 07-46311, for example, had become 07-6311. To support this theory I've seen a photo of the machine you have alluded to at Barksdale in 2012 (see URL below) which clearly shows "76311...

Re: AE0595 not 58-0130?

Hi Chief Larry I believe the 128th ARW use fixed callsign "Upset **", and that "Steel **" is a Pennsylvania ANG/171st ARW callsign. Like you I am unsure which of the unit's KC-135Rs is using AE0595, but the smart money would probably fall on 59-1460 which is a PA ANG machine, and which is assigned a...

Re: #70-1576 Serial Dup

Hi Larry/guys I can't confirm if ADFFA6 is 70-1576, but I believe AE138F could well be 701575 - though this needs confirmation. The lack of a hyphen in this serial indicates that it's currently a USN aircraft; it being one of a small batch of the type which were transferred from the USAF many years ...

Re: Hex Code AE53FB

Hi Chief/Albert It looks like this is a simple error with the FY as the hex code you have quoted is being used by Beech 350/MC-12S 12-00279 (224th MIB?). For info it passed through Prestwick Airport in December last year, and there's a pic of it at this URL... https://www.flickr.com/photos/johncayr/...

Re: Weekly military mode-s updates

Hi Albert I hope you're well. Just a few corrections to the above if I may... 4B820E A400 Turkey 14-0028 221 Filo LMMS I believe the new Turkish A400 ought to be 15-0028 rather than 14-0028. EDIT: Disregard this comment Albert. You are correct this is 14-0028 and not 15-0028. Sorry about the mix up....

Re: Weekly update military mode-s codes

Hi Albert Many thanks for taking time to post these updates. In the past I have sent any additions/corrections direct to you but given your recent mail and the fact you are very busy these days, perhaps it might help those who use this Forum to update/amend their own records, if I post them here ins...

Re: Turkish Mil

Hi Guys Just a minor point if I may. The Turkish 737AEW&C were originally assigned serials 06-001 through to 06-004, but these seem to have been changed, presumably due to the very long delays in completing the project. Consequently 06-001 has now become 13-001, 06-002 is expected to become 13-002 a...

Re: Republic of Korea Air Force

Hi guys

Hex code 71FC04 was reported in May 2013 using flight ID "ALLIED1", so it would be reasonable to conclude that this is the fourth RoKAF 737AWACS, namely 65-329.

Best wishes

Re: Turkish Mil

Hi guys If I may comment on this thread... As far as I am aware 301 Filo (Turkish Navy) operate six CN235-100MPAs and these appear to be assigned the following hex codes... 4B8215 = TCB-651 4B8216 = TCB-652 4B8217 = TCB-653 4B8218 = TCB-654 4B8219 = TCB-655 4B821A = TCB-656 301 Filo also operate two...

Re: Weekly updates

Hi Albert Re these updates. If I may comment on some... 33FE1B NH90 Italy mm81521 ??? --- LMMS You have presumably based this suggestion on the flight ID "IAM1521", but this is only indicative of it being a 15 Stormo machine and is NOT related to the airframe serial. The fact it is a new code on a 1...
