ModeSLogger version 4.1

Joining

The only way to get a username and password for this site is by sharing your SBS-1, Radarbox, Aurora Virtual Radar or Beast data. You can choose between two options: on-line or off-line.
    On-line
     By running the ModeSLogger software all the hex codes and call signs you receive will be forwarded to this website real-time.
    Off-line
     The ModeSLogger offline software will generate a logfile from your database. You can make an export from your whole database or from a specific period.
     Visit the following links for the offline software for Radarbox off-line or SBS-1 off-line.
     The offline version for the Aurora is not available yet.

Tips

    Location (1)
     You don’t have to share your data with your exact location. You can give an indication of your location. (E.g. Italy, G, IT or East Coast, UK)
    Location (2)
     Much of the site is automated. Please take a look at list for Abbreviations For Country and use the correct abbreviations for your country. This will help to show your logs at the correct page.

How to get started On-line

Just a quick and dirty note to get ModeSLogger Version 4.1 working.

Make sure that any older Mysql Connector software (before 6.5.x) is removed. You can remove older MySql Connector Software via Control Panel, add/remove programs


Step 1 Download the software from: here

Step 2 Run the Setup.exe

    You could get the follwing warning like:
    You can click the Run button.

Step 3 Click on Next, Next, check options, Next, Install, Finish

Install the MySql Connector net 6.4.4: Click on Next, Typical , Install,

Finish


Step 5 Secondly install ModeSLogger software: Click on Install,




Step 1 Click Connect, Stop Logging

Step 2 Click File, Settings

Step 3 Enter your location.
    - Enter Locationame komma space Abbreviations --> Naaldwijk, NL
    - Check Abbreviations For Country.

Step 4 Click on OK.

Step 5 Click on Connect, Start Logging .

With the first hex codes arriving at the site your location should be visible at the website. Check Locations on-line to see if you are feeding the site.




Possible errors during installation

Solution:
